Wales air ambulance and Aber Falls Whisky Distillery would like your support to help promote an upcoming auction for the charity.

In October 2018, Aber Falls made history by producing the first ever gin to be distilled at the top of mount Snowdon. With only three bottles ever produced, the aptly named ‘Summit Gin: Mountaineers Cut’ was distilled at the summit using a one-litre traditional copper pot still.

Now, set to peak interest with the uk’s gin connoisseurs, Wales Air Ambulance is preparing to auction one of the bottles of the limited-edition spirit to raise funds to enable it to continue saving lives.

With the gin craze reaching new heights, Wales Air Ambulance will launch the live online auction here on Saturday 8th June – World Gin day.

The online auction will run between Saturday 8th and Friday 21st June. During this time, the people of Wales and beyond will have the opportunity to get their hands on the one-off, limited-edition spirit. The money raised will go to the Wales Air Ambulance charity, which provides a lifesaving air ambulance service for Wales’ critically ill and injured patients.

Annually the helicopter charity attends more than 2,500 missions and can be anywhere in the country within 20 minutes. Every year wales air ambulance needs to raise £6.5 million to keep the four helicopters flying. We thank you in advance for your support.
