It’s in our roots
The village of Abergwyngregyn is home to our distillery, and sits at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall. Attracting over 50,000 visitors a year, this picturesque spot is easily accessible, just off the A55 and a stone’s throw from the coast.
Previously a slate works in the 19th century, a margarine factory during the world wars, and more recently a drinks wholesaler depot, our building has been lovingly restored and refurbished, proving the ideal place to create our spirits and demonstrate the passion and skill in our craftsmanship.
The ProcessMEET GOLCHI & GWIROD, OUR COPPER STILLS
Our stills are specially designed to produce refined, premium quality whisky. The copper removes any sulphur, with the large surface area of our tall still ensuring maximum contact with the liquid.
Our LocationMOUTH OF THE RIVER
Aber Falls sits at the gateway of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, within the small village of Abergwyngregyn near Conwy (J13 of the A55).
The distillery is one of only a handful of businesses in the village, and we work very closely with residents to integrate into our local community.
Sustainability and working with our communityPROUD TO BE WELSH
Aber Falls has been embraced by the local community, and is working to establish strong links and partnerships with other Welsh businesses, with the goal of improving sustainability and driving the local economy and tourism trade.
